Member Benefits

The ORA continues to have outstanding educational, networking and social opportunities. Our premier benefit is the structure of small groups that foster relationships with other business people for mutual growth, both personally and professionally. Each group member experiences an environment of respect, complete trust and confidentiality.

Member Education & Development

The ORA offers many educational opportunities for members and anyone interested in enhancing their career in the remodeling industry.

NARI

Our association is one that other NARI chapters seek to model. Our membership and the public realize and appreciate the advantages of NARI. Our members are involved as leaders and active participants at the regional and national level.

Leadership

The association is led by individuals with personal humility and professional will. They look ahead, capture a glimpse of the future, and share that vision with everyone. Our leaders maintain an unwavering faith that the association will succeed and thrive. Additionally they have the discipline to confront the difficult issues of any current situation. Our leaders help recruit and mentor the next leaders. Positions of leadership are highly sought after and esteemed.

Communication

The Board of Directors have a clear knowledge of tasks each committee and staff member is assigned and the progress to support the strategic plan.

Each association member knows the vision for the association and reviews it at regular intervals. Membership knows what each committee is doing and how it contributes to achieving the vision of the association.

All meetings have a purpose, an agenda and an intended outcome. Individuals know their responsibilities and who will do what by when.

Media Relations

All the media outlets, within our sphere of influence, know that our association is the single best source for all remodeling related information. This knowledge is deep and comprehensive and includes topics such as: regulation compliance, governmental implications and impact, consumer protection, industry best practices, environmental impact, economic conditions, industry statistics.

Members and the association clearly benefit from the constant exposure. Testimonies are plentiful and are regularly used for recruitment.

Branding

The ORA’s brand dominates. Consumers and related industries know it, and understand it for the values and the good our brand brings to the industry and the community. Companies doing business in remodeling will seek membership to insure their success.

Performance Implementation

Our entire strategic plan is measured and monitored. Regular reporting on the progress is simple and concise. Milestones are made known and celebrated. Our progress is announced and made known beyond our organization.

There is a sense of accountability to our fellow members and the personal benefits are appreciated as each one contributes to the greater good. It is known that a vibrant, growing and improving association is the key to our success and in turn contributes to the success of each of the members. Each member knows how and why this is happens.

Staff

We are appropriately staffed with a team of motivated professionals. Each staff member has a personal commitment to improve the remodeling industry.

Events

Membership events are experiences not to be missed. They are events that give members access to people and activities that otherwise they would never have been able to experience.

There are manuals that document how each event is executed. These manuals are in place so that time can be spent on improvements. Each event is evaluated at a debrief meeting and event manuals are updated to reflect the improvements.

Community Involvement

The association, as a whole, and individual members are often being recognized for their philanthropy.

Industry Recruitment

A recruitment presentation has been developed and is currently being used. Recruitment is proactive. Membership growth is to be included as an objective of each event.

Sponsorship opportunities at most association events are available.  Businesses find this to be a good source of exposure and continue to invest.

Government Involvement/Connection

Local and state governmental agencies are seeking partnerships with the ORA to maintain high standards for the industry and increase consumer confidence.

The governor knows who we are and the value we provide to our industry and the general public. The governor turns to our association when a representative of our industry is needed.
